Alexandra Park Conference Centre provides chef prepared catering, comfortable accommodation, activity programs and experiences, and conference rooms for any type of group. There are four accommodation areas, multiple meeting rooms and 10 hectares that includes an oval, a lake, a ropes challenge course and rainforest camping experience with equipped camp kitchen and bushwalk. All rooms have airconditioning and along with adjacent outdoor activity spaces all have Wi-Fi. Audio-visual equipment is provided to meeting rooms.

The Challenge

Existing switch and access points were end-of-life and coverage was not sitewide.
Speed of network wasn’t at today’s standard, and Alex Park was not able to leverage video streaming and digital media to guests as needed. To ensure they were the venue of choice, these technologies were upgraded.

Solution

The Network Solution was designed to create a smart digital workplace that is optimised for mobile users with an integrated wired and wireless network. The solution is able to be deployed and managed centrally with advanced security tools available. Future growth and capability was taken into consideration with the ability to unlock further bandwidth with improved fibre cabling and predicted improved internet speeds in the future.
